At the heart of mankind's existence, is the desire to be intimate and to be loved by another. Marriage is designed to meet that need for intimacy and love. Aug 19 my son David, and his wife Misti, will be celebrating another Anniversary together. What a precious gift for them to give to their daughter. My Birthday Prayer

Sharing with you another birthday card that I received. This is not handmade, but I thought it was so sweet. It is my birthday prayer. The inside reads: "Dear Lord, please bless this special friend with every good thing You can send---fill each moments with delights, sunny days, and starry nights, gratifying things to do, a little miracle or two---Gracious Lord, hold my friend close, grant each day what's needed most---and may these blessing never end...Thank You for such a special friend". I want to thank Vivian, who is my husband's first cousin, and her husband, Lloyd, for sending this special birthday prayer to me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!! Yes, today is my birthday. Can you believe I have never had a birthday party in my life? But, the good Lord willing, next year, I plan to do so. Until then, I continue to make my little Chocolate Yummy dessert(I'm not real crazy about cakes), and enjoy the calls, gifts, warm wishes, and cards. Speaking of cards, for the next few days, I am going to post some of the hand made cards that I receive. Since I have already received this one, I will share it with you today. My niece, Peggy, send me this stair-step card, and I think it is so cute. Thanks a bunch, Peggy!!
