Hello, from Southwest Louisiana. I am a wife, mother, Mama Joy to my 5 grandchildren, sister, Aunt, and the list goes on. Most of all, I am grateful to be called a FRIEND OF GOD. I love card making, and sharing what I love, thus the reason for this blog. Thanks for taking the time to visit.
Let's take a break from the Halloween spirit, although I do have one more to post, and focus on a little gals birthday which falls on Oct. 30. I'm hoping Madison will love her card, and enjoys her weekend shopping. :-) Happy Birthday, MAD!
How do you like my Monster Halloween card? Sure is different from the rest I have made. Was really easy to do, and that's a blessing! One more Halloween card to go, and we will be finished for the year. Woo Hoo!!!
I thought this little guy was cute, so fixed a little card for another grandchild. A couple more Halloween cards, and we will be finished for the year. Woo Hoo!!
Oh, geez! Halloween is quickly approaching, and I need to get more cards posted, so will be sending out several this next week. Please be patient, as there really is an end to them. :-) How about Miss Minnie! Ever seen pink used on a Halloween card? Well, you have now. I thought she was cute. Hope the little lady that receives this does, too!
Today, Monday.....October 19, is my Husband's sisters Anniversary. Sabra and Marvin have been married for, well I guess I really don't know how long, so we won't go there. I made them a card, and wish to share it with you as well. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, Y'ALL!
Wanted to share with you a handmade card that my friend, Dolores, made for me. What a beautiful Fall Anniversary card. Aren't the little colored felt leaves so cute? Yes, she made those herself. Thanks, Dolores and Mel.
Is it OK to wish myself a Happy Anniversary? After all, it takes lots of love and effort to be able to celebrate each year. I am very happy that God has blessed us with 13 years of marriage. We plan to "get out of town" for the day, and "pass a good time". As for my card to him, every KING OF THE JUNGLE needs a QUEEN, don't you think? As always, thanks for looking!
My friend, Marlene, is having a birthday today. She lives several states away, so I won't be able to give her a hug. I did create this card for her, and hope she likes it, as she has been a very special friend to me for many, many years. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARLENE!
Halloween is a festival that takes place on October 31. In the US, children wear costumes on Halloween and go trick-r-treating. Many carve jack-o'-lanterns out of pumpkins. I am not in favor of Halloween, and am very grateful for families and churches that provide an alternative. I do send out cards to my GRANDchildren, so for the next few weeks leading up to the big event, I will post a couple each week.
