BOUDREAUX

Someone is having a birthday. Who could it be? It's not Daddy, and it's not Mommy. He is a very special little boy dog in our life. Meet BOUDREAUX! He has brought such joy and comfort to us, and of course, he is spoiled rotten! It just can't help it! Say a prayer for him. He hasn't been feeling good lately. HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY, BOO!

MISS HANNAH

How many of you know the Southern Gospel Group.........the Easter's?(Jeff & Sheri) I love that touch of bluegrass that they have, and really enjoy their music. Several weeks ago, my granddaughter was able to go to a Gaither Homecoming Concert, and got to meet them in person. Sheri was recuperating from breast surgery, but Jeff went to get her for a personal visit with Hannah. Now, you must understand that Hannah is 3 years old, and loves to watch their videos, listen to their CD's, and sing along. Friday night the Easter's were in concert, so my DS and DIL took Hannah. What a special night it turned out to be for her. Sheri spotted her in the audience, waved at her, then Jeff called her out, and Hannah got to go on stage with them for about 10 mins.! She told them what songs she liked, so she and Sheri sang together. As a proud grandparent, let me share with you a couple photos of Miss Hannah. YOU GO, BABY GIRL!

In Sympathy

Had something I wanted to try on a card, so this is the results. I wanted the greeting to not lay flat on my card. Instead of using a pop-dot under it for height, I only put a glue dot under the bottom of the strip, lower right corner. Of course, it has a glue dot under the button, as well. Looks much better! If you ever have any questions as to how I created a card, be sure to let me know. To those of you who make cards, here are the supplies:
CS---Bazzill, PP---SU Delicate Dots, Cuttlebug Folder---Distressed Stripes, Ink---Colorbox Chestnut Roan, Pencils---Prisma, Stamp---SU Sweet Stems.

Mama Said

I just love this little image. Don't you just feel so sorry for this little dude? But, Mama said there would be days like this. Mama knows!! Will try to attach the image itself for your personal use, if you'd like to create a card yourself. As always, thanks so much for following this blog.

In Sympathy

How nice it would be to never need a sympathy card, but life has a way taking away those that we love so dear. Here's a very simple Sympathy card that I made. Used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder on the cardstock. Added a little kemp, and it was ready to go. TFL

Easter Is Over

My title says that "Easter is Over", but really, Easter is NEVER over. We have the true meaning of Easter in our hearts all the time. But, on the lighter side, I thought I would share this little Easter funny with you. Did your chocolate bunnies have such an experience at your house?

My middle grandson, Blake, is celebrating his birthday today, April 15. Dear ole' TAX day. Anyway, I am wishing him a wonderful day. Instead of posting a card that I made for him, I am going to post a picture of him. Mama Joy loves you, BLAKE!

Easter Egg

What has the egg got to do with Easter, pray tell me? I don't know either. BUT, eggs represent new life. Out of the egg(which has served as a tomb) comes the baby chick, alive and well! Here is an Easter card I made. I cut out the egg using a pattern, and added a little stitching around it. The felt flowers are from my friend, Dolores. It's All About Calvary

How quickly Easter is approaching. We got our little cool snap, that usually arrives around this beautiful season. I hope that you have a blessed Easter with your family. And, be sure to attend church this Sunday. He is not the great "I was", He is the great "I AM"!! In creating this card, I downloaded a cross image that I found on the Internet. The Bible verse is computer generated, and added the little rubon. TFL

Baby Girl

Did this baby pattern free handed, so don't look too close for all the errors. I used SU Whisper White and Pretty in Pink cardstock, and the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder on the pink. Just love the look it gave. Used the scalloped and circle punches, and the final touch of the eyelets and ribbon for the bow. Thanks a bunch for looking!!

Have Fun Birthday

This little monster image was just too cute to pass up. Though it might make a fun birthday card for a child. Image was computer generated, cardstock from SU, and added the little "have fun" rubon. Did some piercing, and added the little accents from The Robin's Nest. As always, TFL.

Easter Is On Its Way

What is going on with my blog?? When I post, either Blogger or Feedburner is not getting the post sent to those subscribed to my blog. GRRRR!!

I won't go into detail on this card, but it is an Easter card made from SU products: Cardstock, PP, stamps, etc. I hate to take all the time to list the supplies, when my subscribers aren't even going to be receiving this.
